Small businesses and fleet operators needed a way to put smart, trackable QR decals on their vehicles that drive traffic to their URL and collect location-based analytics — without black-box SaaS platform lock-in.
What we're building
- Vehicle registration validation against DVLA data (MOT, tax, road-legal checks)
- VRN-bound decal generation with designated vehicle panel position (rear, front, nearside, offside)
- Automatic vehicle colour optimisation to ensure QR code legibility and brand consistency
- Controlled landing page that requests location consent and redirects to validated business URL
- Enriched scan analytics: time, device, weather, population density, socioeconomic context, and traffic conditions
- White-label print fulfilment integration — artwork transmitted automatically to printing partners on subscription payment
- Subscription lifecycle management (Starter, Pro, Premium tiers with advert control, advanced analytics, fleet dashboards)
A platform where the business owns the relationship, the data, and the margin — subscription-driven with zero platform fees.

A personal project to explore the boundary between distributed systems and physical environments — a platform that recognises who is in a room, responds to their voice, and controls the space around them.
What we're building
- SCRFD face detection + SFace embedding pipeline with 5-pose enrolment, per-frame quality scoring, and adaptive lighting profiles for real-world robustness
- ML.NET FastTree model predicts camera settle time post power-on; Philips Hue bridge latency measured and compensated automatically per calibration run
- Avalonia desktop enrolment portal — guided pose capture (front, left, right, up, down) with ambient light calibration and quality gating
- Whisper STT for continuous voice capture, Piper TTS for spoken responses, and a dedicated gRPC service for natural language intent parsing
- 7-service distributed architecture: .NET REST APIs, Python vision + voice gRPC workers, .NET utterance gRPC, per-service SQLite via EF Core, Prometheus metrics
A homelab project pushing into the genuinely hard parts — ML calibration at the edge, multi-pose face matching under variable lighting, and coordinating physical actuators across service boundaries in real time.
