Our commitment

We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using assistive technology, keyboard-only navigation, or screen readers. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is a genuine aim, not a certified compliance claim — we haven’t commissioned a formal third-party audit, and some parts of the site may not yet meet every criterion.

What we’ve built in

The site is built with accessibility in mind, including:

  • Semantic HTML structure and a logical heading hierarchy
  • Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text) as part of our design system
  • Keyboard navigation support for interactive elements
  • Form labels and input descriptions
  • Visible focus indicators for keyboard users

How we checked

We test key pages ourselves using automated tooling (Lighthouse and axe) and manual keyboard-navigation checks, most recently in July 2026. This is self-assessment against WCAG 2.2 AA, not an independent accessibility audit. Known limitations at the time of writing: some older embedded content and third-party widgets (for example payment and CAPTCHA elements) are outside our direct control and may not fully match our own standards.

Continuous improvement

We keep working on accessibility as the site evolves, and we welcome feedback on issues we’ve missed.

Report an accessibility issue

If you have difficulty accessing any content or feature on this website, tell us — page, what happened, and the device or assistive technology you were using if relevant. We’ll do our best to fix it or provide the information another way.
