Support and monitoring response is Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm UK time — we don’t offer a 24/7 response, and no plan implies one. All prices include VAT, except one-off website builds, which are quoted + VAT. Each plan covers one website and one standard domain; additional domains are £15/yr. 3 business mailboxes (1 GB each) are included; extra mailboxes or storage are £2/month each. How much does a website cost?
Websites start from £1,200 + VAT for a secure, bespoke build — not a template. Business systems and integrations are scoped and quoted per project, so you get a fixed price for a defined outcome before any work begins.
What's the difference between the plans?
All three include UK hosting, one standard domain, Cloudflare and daily off-site backups — so what changes is how much is covered, how long backups are kept and how fast we respond. Essential Care fixes the critical and high-risk security issues for you. Enhanced Care adds the less-urgent (medium-risk) fixes, next-business-day response and the full site report every quarter. Complete Care adds the major software upgrades — keeping the software your site runs on from going out of support, the expensive job most people put off.
What do Critical, High, Medium and Low mean?
Every finding in your portal is graded the same way. Critical and High are the serious ones — a known way in, or something attackers actively look for — and they are exactly what Essential Care fixes for you. Medium is a real weakness with a known fix, and Low is cheap hardening with no known way in; both are optional and quoted before any work — or handled as routine once you are on Enhanced Care and above.
What does a domain cost?
One standard domain is included in every plan. Standard covers .co.uk, .uk, .org.uk, .me.uk, .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz — one flat price whichever you choose. Additional standard domains are £15/year. Premium extensions such as .io or .ai cost considerably more at trade, so those are quoted at cost plus 20% before renewal.
Is business email included? Can I use my own?
Yes — every plan includes 3 mailboxes on your own domain ([email protected]), 1 GB each, set up so your mail is far more likely to reach inboxes and much harder to spoof. Add extra mailboxes (up to 10 in total) or storage for £2/month each, straight from your client portal. Already on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace? We'll connect and configure that for you instead — email is one part of an all-inclusive plan, so the price is the same whether you use our mailboxes or your own.
Can I have hosting without a plan?
No — hosting is part of the plan. The entry tier, Essential Care, already includes your domain, Cloudflare, daily backups and the security fixes. A hosting-only option would leave a site backed up but unpatched on our infrastructure — a risk to that site and to everyone else we host — so we don't offer one.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
No. Every plan is month-to-month with no contract. You can leave at any time and we hand over a full export of your site, database and code — nothing held back.
Do your prices include VAT?
Recurring plans and self-serve prices include VAT. One-off website builds are quoted plus VAT.
Is the free security scan really free?
Yes — the automated scan is free and needs no account. A full plain-English PDF report is available as a one-off if you want the detail to hand to a developer or host.
